The general performance of TENGRAPH® On-line (drawing of the display on the screen, system responding to your mouse clicks, etc.) is largely dependent on the internet, and is outside our control.
Our computing infrastructure was designed to meet an expected high level of demand. However, we acknowledge that, at times, TENGRAPH® On-line can be significantly slower than TENGRAPH® used on our public counters.
In recognition of this, we have provided an option to display tenements without an in-fill pattern, to reduce the amount of data that is transmitted over the Internet.
If you wish to improve the performance of the system you may wish to discuss the speed of your access (modems, type of connection, etc.) with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Changing to a higher capacity ISP, or changing to broadband, could also produce an improved performance for TENGRAPH® On-line.
From an operational perspective, you can also improve the speed of the system by keeping to a minimum the amount of information loaded on the screen by selecting the "Data Load Option" dialog. Perhaps topography, administration and cadastral information is not always essential for your enquiry.
