Overview
The Department of Industry and Resources (DoIR) Investment Attraction Division encourages investment within Western Australia (WA) while working to facilitate and support major capital investment in new projects, products or services of strategic importance to Western Australia.
The Division identifies and promotes business development opportunities in selected industry sectors to organisations with potential interest in these areas. Support is provided for activities that build the national and international investment community’s understanding of the WA's capacities and that encourage consideration of specific investment opportunities.
With it's world-class infrastructure, highly skilled workforce, the State’s low sovereign risk and pro-development policies, WA has much to offer companies considering investment in its industry and resources sectors as a long-term investment destination.
